Scanning
Here at Carnival we use high resolution film scanners to
scan originals of virtually all formats. Transparencies or
negatives are placed flat and scanned at the maximum resolution
of over 4000 lines per inch. This is scanning at the grain
size of the original film - you can't achieve better!
Photo CD is a powerful digital storage medium for both scanning
and delivering photographic images either singularly or in
image databases.
All around the world, major hardware and software manufacturers
have endorsed the Kodak photo CD standard, and are incorporating
it in new product releases. (See our Photo
